Manipur Human Rights Commission has referred the Kumbi firing case in which two civilians were killed to the National Human Rights Commission.
The petitions were filed by the widows of Wahengbam Nobochandra and Wahengbam Manglemba.
The incident took place on August 8 this year.
In another case the commission asked the state DGP to submit a report on the alleged failure of Moirang police station in taking action against four persons accused of snatching video camera.
The DGP has been asked to submit his report by January 24.The owner of the video camera, M Kusha said his camera, worth Rs 80,000 was snatched by four persons from two cameramen on December 10 last.
In another case the commission had sought the report of the Health Commissioner in connection with its earlier recommendation dated 30th August last year which has asked the Government to keep a waiting list of at least 10 percent of the 175 vacancies of Junior Medical Officers recommended by the Manipur Public Service Commission.
The proceedings followed a complaint lodged by five candidates.
